Jack Be Little Pumpkin

Jack-be-little is a squash belonging to the species Cucurbita pepo of the family Cucurbitaceae. 

Small in size, it looks like a miniature pumpkin typical of Halloween.

With its bright orange color and very sweet flesh, the "jack be little" can be enjoyed simply mashed with a dab of butter. But it is also a great container. Just dig out the flesh and fill with preparations such as eggs, shells, cheese... The "jack be little" are perfect for soups and gratins. Simply stuff and put in the oven.
