Fine l'Ultime Oyster is reared in the Charente basin for a minimum of 30 months and becomes exceptional during the last stage of its breeding.
Placed at the bottom of a clear for at least 120 days, 2 oysters per square meter to make the most of its terroir.
This shiny growth provides a fabulously flavored flesh while being very fleshy. Delicately iodized, it expresses beautiful marsh aromas.
History of Geay:
Geay is a family-owned oyster farm located in the town of Marennes-Oléron in southwestern France. The company has been in operation for more than 140 years and specializes in the cultivation of oysters using traditional farming methods. Geay produces several different varieties of oysters, including the "Fine de Claire" and the "Ultime", which are known for their high quality and distinctive flavor. The oysters are grown in the nutrient-rich waters of the Marennes-Oléron basin and are carefully handled and prepared to ensure freshness and quality.
